Smart Systems Bi-fold doors are made of Aluminium as this material is strong and durable and allows slim sightlines. Unlike UPVc they can be specified to open in or out. The Smart Systems Bi-fold door system uses dedicated aluminium profiles specifically designed and has been used for many years in Europe for both domestic and commercial installations.

The locking mechanism and rollers are fully concealed when the door is closed providing an aesthetically pleasing and secure folding door solution. All bi-fold doors for external applications are now supplied with argon filled Low E double glazing with a 1.2 U value and sealed units are manufactured using a 'warm edge' spacer bar for optimum insulation.
